How to Create a Project

Learn how to start a new photobook project in QARTA.

What is a Project?

A project is your workspace for designing a photobook. Each project contains:

  • Your selected photos
  • Page layouts and designs
  • Text and captions
  • Design preferences

Steps to Create a Project

1. Choose a Photobook

  1. Navigate to the Photobooks page
  2. Browse available photobook options
  3. Select the size and style you want
  4. Click "Create Your Photobook"

2. Name Your Project

  1. Enter a descriptive name (e.g., "Summer Vacation 2024")
  2. This helps you organize multiple projects
  3. Click "Continue"

3. Select Your Photos

You can add photos in two ways:

From Gallery:

  1. Choose an existing gallery
  2. Select photos you want to include
  3. Click "Add to Project"

Upload New Photos:

  1. Click "Upload Photos"
  2. Select files from your device
  3. Photos are added to the project

4. Start Designing

Once photos are added:

  • Arrange photos on pages
  • Choose layouts
  • Add text and captions
  • Customize design elements

Project Features

  • Auto-save: Projects save automatically
  • Multiple projects: Work on several photobooks at once
  • Edit anytime: Return and continue editing later
  • Preview: See how your photobook will look

Next Steps

After creating your project:

  1. Add more photos
  2. Design your photobook in the editor
  3. Order when ready
