How many photos fit?

We print hardcover books in 32, 48, and 96 pages.

Each page can hold up to 4 photos, so how many you fit depends on your layout:

• One photo per page, the cleanest, most elegant look (photos = pages).
• Recommended for the best layout, a little more, mixing single photos with the occasional collage.
• Maximum, up to 4 photos per page (collage-style).

Recommended vs. maximum per book:
• 32 pages, recommended 32-40 photos, up to 128 max.
• 48 pages, recommended 48-60 photos, up to 192 max.
• 96 pages, recommended 96-120 photos, up to 384 max.
• 96 pages (large), recommended 96-140 photos, up to 384 max.

For the nicest result, stay near the recommended range, fewer photos per page means larger, more striking images.

How do I add photos?

Which photo formats can be uploaded?

Accepted Answer

• On QARTA you can upload any photo in JPG, JPEG, PNG, HEIC or DNG.
This can be both professional photographer's work and smartphone shots.

• Photos can be arranged in various templates: full page, half page, etc. Each template has its own requirements, but generally, original photos taken with a phone or camera fit without problems.

• If an uploaded photo is low quality, you will see a warning sign about quality, in such cases, it's better to replace the photo with a higher quality file.

• Please note: Photos downloaded from social networks or messengers are often smaller in size than originals taken with a camera. Therefore, it's better to upload source files.

How does the designer service work?

1. Choose your hardcover photobook. 2. Click the "Upload Photos" button. 3. Upload photos, arrange them in your preferred order, add titles or text inserts. Within 1 or 2 business days, our designer will create a mockup. You will receive an email notification with a link to the digital version of the photobook, where you can review it and provide feedback. The order printing process begins after you confirm the digital version.

The order goes into "pending" status and will not be printed if you do not confirm the electronic version.

We print orders on business days, excluding Saturday and Sunday.

Printing period: 3-4 business days
Timeframes are specified without delivery.

Delivery in Tbilisi: 1-2 business days.
In Batumi, Telavi, Zugdidi and Kutaisi: 2-3 business days.
