How to Check Out & Pay

Step-by-step walkthrough of the QARTA cart → checkout → payment flow.

1. Open Your Cart

Click the cart icon in the top-right corner of any page. Your cart shows every photobook or photo print pack you've added.

In the cart you can:

  • Adjust quantities for each item
  • Remove items
  • Apply a promo code or gift card (see below)
  • See your subtotal, discounts, and order total in real time

2. Apply a Promo Code or Gift Card (Optional)

In the cart, paste your code into the discount field and tap Apply.

  • One promo code per order
  • Gift cards stack with promo codes — apply each separately
  • The discount applies immediately; you'll see the new total

If the code is invalid or expired, you'll see an error. Check spelling and expiration date.

3. Click "Checkout"

This takes you to the checkout page.

4. Sign In or Continue as Guest

  • Registered users: Sign in with your magic link to use saved addresses
  • First time: Enter your email — we'll create an account automatically when you place the order

5. Enter Delivery Address

Fill in:

  • Full name (matches the recipient who'll sign for delivery)
  • Phone number (couriers use this to reach you)
  • City — pick Tbilisi or your region from the list
  • Street address and any delivery notes

Delivery prices and times update based on whether the address is in Tbilisi or a region.

6. Choose Payment Method

QARTA supports several gateways. Available options depend on your device and browser:

Pick your preferred method. Apple Pay and Google Pay are fastest if your device supports them.

7. Complete Payment

Follow the prompts inside the payment widget (one-tap for Apple/Google Pay, a card form for Visa/Mastercard, or a bank redirect for TBC/BOG).

When payment succeeds you'll:

  • See a confirmation screen with your order number
  • Receive a confirmation email immediately
  • See the order in Account → Orders

Common Questions

My payment failed. What now? Refresh the page and try again. If the failure repeats, try a different method (e.g. switch from Apple Pay to card). The order isn't placed until payment confirms.

Can I change my delivery address after placing the order? Within ~2 hours — email hi@qarta.ge with your order number. After production starts, the address is locked.

Will I be charged before printing? Yes — payment is captured at checkout. For Service Mode, you pay after approving the designer's draft.
